The cycle of trying to make a profit instead of just creating great content is a vicious one. It causes burnouts, as creators often want to do what they do best, but are unable to do so because of the need to generate revenue.
I’m happy to announce that problem has a solution, and the solution is called LootLabs!
Let’s start from the top: The Gaming UGC Industry is huge. It engages hundreds of millions of users on a daily basis. Alas, the current format of user generated content is flawed – it has a distinct problem that we at LootLabs are attempting to solve.
UGC stands for User Generated Content. It’s content that’s created by fans. It’s a rapidly growing trend in the gaming industry that generates tens of millions of dollars annually, focusing on fans creating everything from videos, mods, guides, and extensions, often displaying immense creativity and skill. The generated content is often perceived by the audience to be at the same level or even better than the source material provided by companies with dedicated teams.
However, despite the numerous advantages of UGC, the compensation issue remains a significant problem. Creating high-quality content is expensive and difficult, and most UGC creators rely on donations or self-made revenue funnels to fund their work, while having to work an additional job to sustain themselves instead of creating more content for everyone to enjoy. That’s where LootLabs comes in.
LootLabs is an innovative Gaming Ad-Tech company that’s been in the works in stealth-mode for the better part of 2023. We provide a cutting-edge platform for gaming User-Generated-Content creators and brands. Our motto is simple “We let content creators focus on doing what they do best, while we take care of the rest.”
My past experience of being a content creator, entrepreneur and marketing consultant puts me in a unique spot. It allows me to oversee the growth of this platform, while understanding the pinpoints and needs of the creators, the audience and the market itself.
I like to say that the first step of a journey is by far the hardest. Taking LootLabs out of stealth mode really does feel like the official first step. In the following months, we’re going to be rolling out the platform, and jumpstarting our vision of helping creators do what they love, which is to create.
Join us at LootLabs and be part of the monetization revolution! We think good content should be rewarded and that’s where we come in.
